Lesson 6

Lesson 6

Experiment 3(How speed affects the force exerted)

Allow the robot to collide with the cart at different power levels. Measure the distance the cart moves for each power level and put it in the form of a table. What do you notice about the distance the cart moves when the power level of the robot is increased? Make up a table showing the distance traveled for each power level. What does that say about the force the robot exerts when it goes faster?

Programming note: the robot has to stop when it collides with the cart. Ideally the touch sensors should be the most practical but they didnít work well. A black line on the floor just in front of the cart worked better
